MMA's Honors Biology classes have submitted eight total projects to Toshiba ExploraVision competition this year. The students were required to create and research new technology to solve a real world problem. The schools' projects aim to solve problems like water scarcity, home recycling, oil spills, microplastics in the air, and large-scale waste removal. Some projects also aim to increase awareness of conservation efforts or prevent harm to animals. MMA also has an entry in the medical technology category that involves a new method of casting for broken bones.
